Packaging Designer

We have the opportunity for a skilled designer to join a friendly, growing team within a well-established global blue chip publisher. This role is based in their central Bath offices.

Key duties:

• Research, propose and develop new formats for giftsets from a variety of materials
• Provide complete solutions from concept to delivery
• Work closely with the Design Managers and Managing Editors across multiple departments
• Create commercially sound designs appropriate for the target audience
• Create 3D product shots and rapid concept designs for presentations as required
• Work closely with the Group and Assistant Designers as part of a close-knit design team

Experience / skills required:

• You will have proven experience in packaging design, ideally from within the FMCG sector
• Your portfolio will include examples of work from concept generation through to presentation visuals
• Experience with AutoCAD, CS, Illustrator and 3D Studio are essential
• You will be able to manage a wide and at times intensive workload with a calm, friendly demeanour
• Experience with licensor/branded products would be advantageous
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential for this role
