Part-Time Administrative Assistant

Our client is a leading professional association for the publishing industry based in Central London. They are seeking a super organised, detail orientated Administrative Assistant to join them on a part-time basis, 20 hours a week.

The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for supporting the two Managers in the business in all areas of administration, including office management associated with the running of the business. Key responsibilities will include:

- attend and take accurate minutes of committee meetings, working group meetings and other meetings as required
- be responsible for the timely scheduling of all meetings
- assist when required, in the setting up and preparation of events
- ensure the organisation remains active in the social media space
- follow up on progress on all overdue invoices on a monthly basis
- other ad-hoc administrative tasks and support, as required

The successful candidate will be proactive, and extremely detail orientated with proven office administration experience. Any experience in the book publishing industry would be an advantage in applying for this role. Superb communication skills are a must, as well as good presentation and listening skills. Strong experience in Word, Excel and Powerpoint are essential, as well as the ability and aptitude to work at pace, with strong attention to detail.

This role is office based in Central London on a part-time basis, 20 hours a week. It is essential that the successful candidate is able to attend meetings in the office on Wednesdays and Thursdays. This is an urgent requirement so please don't hesitate to get in touch!
