Platform Manager

We have an exciting opportunity of "Platform Manager" - this is for someone with a strong project management background within digital content where you will join the Education division of a leading global publisher! This is a full-time, permanent role that offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits, with flexibility for a remote/hybrid working pattern based out of the company's Oxford office.

The role of Platform Manager is not a technical one, this person will act as a pivotal bridge between editorial/content teams and the technical teams - they will manage the day-to-day operation and support for the digital content tools platform. The Platform Manager will ideally have experience of platform management or digital content creation or authoring tools in order to manage and prioiritise the requirements and updates, as well as be involved in the hands-on testing for the digital content platform.

The ideal Platform Manager will be digitally inquisitive, have strong multi-tasking and communication skills and good experience of project management for digital products/projects specifically. An understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies as well as experience in testing/QA, user testing, data analysis, UX tools and methodologies will also be very useful. A familiarity of working with Agile software development methodologies and JiRA would also be helpful. Any experience of instructional design and knowledge of the schools market, digital learning and the EdTech landscape would certainly be an added advantage!
