Portfolio Development Analyst

Do you have a background in Academic/STM Editorial? Are you good with data? A leading Academic journals publisher is looking for a Portfolio Development Analyst to work alongside their Editorial Department to monitor the success of their journals. This role is based in their Oxford office.

 

Key duties:

  • Play a key part in the creation and maintenance of portfolio analysis tools.
  • Work closely with the Editorial Department to monitor success of various portfolios.
  • Analyse data and other information to help Editorial Development team make business decisions.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs, and performance metrics for the journals portfolio.
  • Drive improvements in portfolio management reporting and analysis with relevant stakeholders.

 

Experience / skills required:

  • Previous experience or understanding of journals publishing is essential in this role.
  • You will have experience working with and report on accurate data from multiple information sources.
  • Excellent IT skills including strong understanding of Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • You must be a good team worker who is proactive, adaptable, and willing to learn new skills.
  • You will have good problem solving skills and high degree of numeracy.
