Pre-Sales Solution Expert (EMEA)
This is an exciting opportunity to join a world leading technology provider to the global library markets who are looking to hire a new Solution Expert in Pre-Sales for EMEA ideally but not essentially based in Germany.
The new Solution Expert will be responsible for providing pre-sales support and/or consultancy to prospects and existing customers throughout the sales cycle within the EMEA region. The main responsibilities include:
- Attending Conferences, Marketing events for product demos
- Identifying and uncovering new/customer business requirements and pain points
- Determining technical and business customer requirements
- Demonstrating products effectively to audiences of varied technical knowledgeÂ
- Ensuring compliance of technical solutions according to customer requirements
- Quantifying operational, financial and business advantages of the proposed solution
- Collaborating with sales teams to define and execute account strategies
- Interfacing with professional services to ensure smooth transition from sale to delivery
- Keeping up to date on the latest trends and developments in the HE industry
- Up to 50% travelling time in Europe.
To be considered for this role you will need to be fluent in German and English, holding experience working for a discovery systems providers or as a systems librarian. Experience working with a sale system based on competitive tendering would be advantageous. Crucially you should have a strong customer focus coupled with a true passion for sales support and strong inter-personal skills.
