Titan Books, the UK’s leading publisher of SFF, Crime and Horror and licensed film, gaming and TV entertainment titles, are currently recruiting for a Press and Marketing Assistant.

The main purpose of your role will be to support the growing Press & Marketing Department. The primary function of this role is to assist Titan’s UK publicist in obtaining coverage for our key and secondary titles through Broadcast, Print and Online media venues- writing press releases, building contacts, making pitches and handling administrative duties tied to publicity.

Additionally the Press and Marketing Assistant will be responsible for all Titan Book’s Social Media presence and messaging, including on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Reddit and Goodreads. The ideal candidate will be well versed in social media communication and trends and be naturally curious about successful campaigning online.

The ideal candidate must have excellent written and communication skills, be well organised and engaged in successful book publishing. This role is ideal for entry-level candidates with a demonstrable interest in publicity and digital promotions within publishing.
