Product Developer

Our client, a global educational publisher is looking for a Product Developer to join the Higher Education department and contribute to the development of their print and digital products. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional within the educational/academic publishing sector. This a contract role based in London.

Key duties:

• Determine and manage publishing schedules ensuring high quality of products
• Edit and oversee print and digital textbook content materials
• Manage the review process and provide feedback and analysis to authors
• Monitor publication process and costs to achieve target of timely publications per year
• Conduct market research and analysis to ensure that the products meet market needs

Experience / skills required:

• Solid experience in an editorial/production editorial role within publishing, ideally within the educational or academic sector
• Experience in digital content development would be advantageous
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive attitude with a problem solving approach
• Educated to a degree level or equivalent
