Product Manager, Maths

Are you an experienced Product Manager, or perhaps a Secondary Maths Teacher who is passionate about education, seeking a new challenge outside the classroom? A prestigious educational publisher is looking for a proactive Product Manager, Maths to join their qualifications division and manage their current and future GCSE and A level Maths products. Alongside a competitive salary and excellent benefits, our client offers remote working initially due to Covid, with flexibility thereafter. The Product Manager will be able to work from home, combined with some time to be spent in either their Cambridge or Coventry office.

As Qualifications Product Manager, Maths you will be responsible for driving improvement of a suite of maths qualifications to meet customer needs, and ultimately ensure their commercial success; you will be looking to enhance product performance, as well as feed in any customer insight to inform decision making. You will also identify new opportunities, as well as develop and maintain product plans and create product development proposals. You will need to have a deep understanding of customer needs in order to create compelling and market-leading product propositions.

The ideal Product Manager, Maths, will have sound product management experience combined with a background in teaching Maths, or from having worked with maths-based products. Excellent communication and analytical skills are a must, alongside a commercial focus. An understanding of the UK education system, whether that be from a role in teaching, assessment publishing or product management within an educational context, will be really valuable.
