Product Manager (Primary)

 

Do you want to work for a market-leading educational publisher in central London?  Great opportunity for a Product Manager (Primary) to work in the Marketing Department. 

 

Key duties:

  • Product strategy; product management; liaison with in-market Sales teams; budgeting and planning; briefing communications; influencing the technology roadmap and liaising widely to influence and organise the business to meet category targets
  • Use market intelligence to gain in-depth insight into the market and its current needs
  • Working with senior key stakeholders, develop long term and short term strategies across your Category
  • Engage technology and content development teams to deliver products and services for consumers, institutions and channels
  • Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams and other stakeholders from strategy through to launch and in-life management
  • Act as lead for pricing and packaging within the category
  • Be the category champion and central point of contact to drive growth

Experience / skills required:

  • Marketing background in either Children’s entertainment or education / assessment
  • Experience in content development within an Educational institution, publisher or channel
  • Strong strategic product development experience; ability to come up with concepts and clearly define the market needs and value propositions
  • Track record of project ownership: seeing a product through the entire process from concept to go- to- market launch, including financial analysis, budget management and digital roadmaps
  • Ability to identify market trends/needs and convert this into sales focused product and marketing plans
  • Knowledge of emerging digital pedagogies
  • Commercial leadership skills and results-driven
