We are an independent family run company producing children's books for all ages. We are searching for a Senior Production Controller to join our busy and skilled team, working on their own children's list of books plus product.
We produce creative and complex novelty books, ensuring that they are both safe and fun.

The job will involve the fulfilment of titles from concept to delivery, as well as creating new formats, providing specifications and sourcing components.
A skilled negotiator, you will be working directly with suppliers in the Far East, coordinating schedules and managing co-edition print runs. The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both in-house departments and external suppliers is essential. The right person will be proactive, both in their role and within the team.

The ideal candidate will already have a children's book production background, preferably with books plus expertise. They will have excellent time management and organisational skills and will enjoy problem-solving. Safety knowledge would be highly desirable and very beneficial to this role. You'll be expected to assist the Production Director and Production Manager and have the ability to help in leading the team.
