Production Controller

Are you looking to develop you book production experience? Would you like to work on a varied list of 4-colour books including novelty products? There is an opening for a Production Controller at leading print production company in Oxfordshire. Offering excellent training opportunities, this is an ideal role for a candidate with 4-colour production experience.

Key duties:

• Manage the production of a varied list of books, including novelty books
• Take responsibility for costing, scheduling and successful timely delivery
• Provide excellent customer service
• Develop products
• Liaise with colleagues and external international suppliers to ensure smooth communication

Experience / skills required:

• Previous production experience is essential ideally working on 4-colour product in book publishing or printing environment
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with good customer service
• A positive and confident manner, with a proactive approach to work
• Solid organisation, time-management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
• Good numeracy and meticulous attention to detail
• Experience working on novelty books is a bonus
