Production Editor

Our client is a leading London based publisher of business books, looking to recruit a Production Editor to join their team.

You will take full responsibility for guiding titles from manuscript to print-ready stage, and your duties will include briefing and liaising with freelancers, pre-press suppliers, text designers, consultant editors and authors.

This is a key role for our client, and the successful candidate will a proven track record in a similar role: project managing a challenging and varied list of titles.

You will have a good understanding of all stages of the pre-press workflow, along with the ability to keep to tight deadlines and budgets, and to adhere to agreed quality standards. In addition you will have excellent copy-editing and proof-reading skills and outstanding communication skills.
