Project Coordinator (12 month contract)

An STM publisher based in central London is looking for a Project Coordinator to manage the transition of its publishing systems during an exciting time of change. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of coordinating multiple projects and implementing new systems. Please note that this is for a 12 month contract.

 

Key duties:

  • Coordinate multiple projects, taking responsibility for risk profiling and progression to ensure successful completion
  • Liaise and communicate information effectively and regularly to all stakeholders
  • Take ownership for allocated projects and act as main contact, managing expectations of stakeholders
  • Create regular reports on project status, ensuring all project documentation is tracked and coordinated
  • Ensure all available resources are used effectively

 

Experience / skills required:

  • Proven project management experience, ideally within academic publishing
  • Experience of using project tracking and reporting methodology essential i.e. Gantt charts
  • Demonstrable experience of methodical documentation
  • Solid IT skills including MS Office (intermediate/expert level)
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new IT applications
  • A Prince2 qualification or equivalent is desirable
