Project Editor (Pop Culture, Film, Illustrated), London

A rare opening for a Project Editor has come up with a market leading trade book publisher of illustrated, licensed pop culture and film books.

As Project Editor you’ll manage new projects - from reviewing submissions, presenting potential acquisitions and commissioning and briefing authors and designers, through to scheduling new titles, proofreading and copy-editing.

This role would suit someone with a minimum 12-18 months full-time illustrated books editorial experience in a book publishing company. Ideally you'll have an interest in movies and pop culture. 

A competitive salary is on offer plus company benefits, and hybrid working of 2 days per week based from the company’s London offices is on offer.
