Project Manager , Oxford
Our client provides software and services to the information and publishing industry. They are looking for a Project Manager to ensure that projects are completed on time while managing client relations. You will have full ownership of the delivery of one or more projects including initiating, planning, executing, tracking and delivering of projects.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Setting expectations with all relevant stakeholders to keep the project on track
- Proactively developing plans and then putting these into effect
- Monitoring and managing resources
- Ensuring timely delivery
- Communicating with all stakeholders, internally and externally including ownership of the client relationship
- Spotting opportunities for revenue generation
- Managing project financials
This role will suit someone with strong experience in software development and ideally in the publishing or media industry. You will have external client management experience and be able to demonstrate the ability to build strong relationships with clients. You will be a fantastic communicator and have an analytical mind. Experience with Agile and Waterfall projects is essential for this position as well as proven experience managing a team for the delivery of successful projects.
