Publications Category Manager – E-commerce

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Category Manager to join the market leader in collectibles. They are expanding their digital team and are looking for someone to join them in their iconic Central London offices. The role will join a team responsible for building and growing the online marketplace for collectibles. This is a fantastic opportunity a bright team player and keen problem solver to join a team in a new and exciting role.

Key duties:

• Act as the commercial head of specified business unit (Publications), managing P&L
• Define business objectives and set online commercial strategy for publication products
• Identify and maximise online marketing opportunities
• Work with the analytics team to define targets
• Build industry and category knowledge and develop business insights
• Develop an in depth knowledge of the market, including both serious and aspiring collectors and hobbyists
• Oversee the work of two scanning operators

Experience / skills required:

• Experience selling direct to consumers and in an e-commerce or digital marketing role
• Experience in online metric tools
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong presentation skills
• A strong team player
