Publicity Officer

A world leading publisher of children’s books is looking to appoint Publicity Officer based in their London office. This is a key position in the Trade Marketing and Publicity department reporting to the Head of Trade Marketing & PR. This is a super fun and exciting opportunity for a Publicity Assistant or Executive with drive and ambition to work with high-profile author brands and titles.

Key responsibilities will include: ensuring the best possible media and online coverage for the publisher's books and authors; providing the highest level of author care and supporting the Publicity Assistant. You will be looking for your next challenge and have exceptional interpersonal, organisational and author care standards and excellent media contacts. You will be a creative individual with a flair for writing copy, pitching and the proven ability to achieve high-profile coverage.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Publicist with a knowledge of the media and how this applies to children's books; hands-on campaign management experience; awareness of the publishing trade and genuine interest and enthusiasm for children's books and reading.
