Publisher Account Manager
The UK’s leading provider of services for the book industry has an opening for a Publisher Account Manager. If you are a strong customer services / account management professional with experience of the book trade, this could be a great opportunity for you.
Key duties:
- Understand and interpret customer requirements to maintain a satisfied client base and increase revenue
- Negotiate and secure subscription renewals with key accounts
- Show a knowledgeable product understanding – offer solutions / support to clients with system queries
- Use Excel to produce reports for clients; data manipulation
- Create PowerPoint presentations for board level client presentations and industry conferences
- Liaise with internal colleagues to ensure delivery guarantees are met
- Ensure quality control in all publisher servicing output
Experience / skills required:
- Strong relevant customer services / account management / sales admin / market research experience
- Knowledge of the book trade (experience in publishing / book retail)
- Advanced Excel skills and a good knowledge of PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills plus strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Confident answering queries by phone / email
