Our client; a growing assessment producer is looking to recruit a Publisher to join their collaborative and industry shaping team. This intriguing opportunity is working towards the growth of an assessment portfolio targeting both primary and secondary markets in print and online formats.

Publisher – Assessment Materials – London - £Competitive + Bonus + Benefits – Ref: 13571TC

The key responsibilities of the Publisher include but are not restricted to:

• Commissioning and developing commercially successful new products.
• Managing content for the frontlist, as well as works in progress and backlist titles and products.
• Building and maintaining relationships with internal teams, authors and third parties in terms of research, development and commercial partnerships.
• Developing a wide range of products in both print and online versions.
• Meeting targets for frontlist sales and achieving completion of projects to time and budget.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• A strong track record in commissioning content and growing sustainable lists.
• First class organisational skills when managing and prioritising multiple projects for varying markets.
• Exceptional understanding of the growing digital market and the impact of technology on customers.
• Detailed experience of the educational market, in particular with assessment materials and noticing key trends.
• Education to degree level or equivalent with a passion for educational materials.
