We are looking for someone who is highly strategic, innovative, product focussed and passionate about creating market leading learning content. Our client is a leading provider of Education material and they are looking for a Publisher to work on their list of Business titles within the Higher Education department in their offices which are a commutable distance from London. This role reports into the Editor in Chief and you will be responsible for setting the best product strategy for your market.

 

Your key responsibilities will include building market expertise through customer engagement, defining a market strategy, creating product propositions and goals in line with the publishing plan, identifying content opportunities and sourcing it, commissioning new editions and advocating new products. This role requires high relationship building skills and therefore a candidate with a very collaborative approach.

 

Strategy and product innovation are at the heart of this role and you will need to be prepared to work through complex decisions and to focus colleague on the importance of the projects. The successful candidate will be highly enthusiastic about product development, adaptable and customer centric.
