Publisher – Children’s Fiction.  An interesting position has become available for the right candidate to take responsibility for the planning and approval of all content (print, digital, multi-media) created for the UK Trade market at this global education publisher, based in Oxford. The major function of this exciting role is to propose new physical and digital products aimed at the UK Trade market, but also of interest within the international market, using new and existing content from the global product development teams. You will be responsible for conducting appropriate market and product research and the development of financial projections related to UK Trade product. You will further liaise with internal colleagues on product development to ensure maximum penetration of all global market and co-edition opportunities.

This is a permanent position within the team however, there could also be an opportunity for an experienced children’s publisher to take up an early contract position fairly quickly.

With significant experience in the children’s book/digital media sector and an excellent understanding of UK Trade formats and pricing models, your experience of the scope and sequence for UK Trade delivery will be important as will your obvious budgeting, forecasting and analytical skills.
An excellent communicator, you will have great organisational skills and will enjoy working within a team environment as well as working independently.
