Publishing Admin Assistant

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Admin Assistant to join the Production team of a leading global Educational publisher on a full-time temporary contract with an initial duration of 2 months. This is a fully remote role, and our client is looking for someone available for an immediate start ideally.

You will be joining the team at an exciting time as temporary Admin Assistant, and you will play a key role, working closely with the senior team, to help integrate a new imprint into the organisation. We are looking for someone who is highly organised, methodical and with a critical eye for detail. This varied role will also offer administrative support to the Production team in the delivery of other ongoing projects. Responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare, collate, and organise transcription of print order records in readiness for system migration into Biblio and to create Excel backlist inventory document.
  • Data cleanse of publishing specifications to harmonise with Biblio requirements
  • Maintain publishing reports
  • Attend and minute meetings for the new imprint
  • General ad hoc tasks to support wider production team as needed

The ideal candidate will be highly organised and have a methodical and accurate / detail oriented approach, along with excellent IT skills (including Excel, MS Office 365). The temporary Admin Assistant will also ideally have knowledge of Biblio systems, as well as Admin experience in a production or publishing environment - this would be useful but is not essential.
