Macmillan Education, the global publisher of English Language teaching (ELT), school curriculum, digital and online materials, are looking for a Publishing Operations Director.

Reporting to the Global Operations Director you will oversee and lead the senior members of our Publishing Operations team to ensure timely delivery of all products within the Schools and Adult ELT market segments across both digital and print.

To succeed in this role you will have experience of delivering complex programmes of work within a publishing environment across print and digital as well as developing, implementing and monitoring operational procedures.

This is a pivotal role in the operations leadership team and the successful candidate will certainly need to have plenty of publishing industry experience, but even more important will be a willingness to consign much of that experience to history in favour of learning new skills and defining new approaches to the production and delivery of 21st Century educational publishing projects.

The role is based at our new headquarters in London but has a global remit so a willingness to travel is essential.
