Publishing Recruitment Consultant (B2B)

Atwood Tate is looking for an enthusiastic Publishing Recruitment Consultant to join us in our London office working on jobs across the B2B Publishing market.  You’ll become part of a friendly team working with a range of publishers and helping people find jobs in print and digital publishing.

 

Key duties:

 

  • Liaise with a wide range of business publishers
  • Place candidates into jobs, working on a varied list of job types and levels with a focus on Sales & Marketing
  • Take on new job briefs and proactively work to get new jobs in
  • Shortlist and interview candidates ensuring you have a regular pool of strong candidates available
  • Keep accurate records using our cutting edge and user friendly integrated website and database 
  • Keep up-to-date with industry developments; attend conferences and networking events

 

Experience / skills required:

 

  • A background in B2B / professional publishing is essential – this is one of our USPs that ensures you will understand the roles you will be working on and is a key benefit to our clients
  • You will ideally come from a sales / marketing / business development background and will be given a warm desk to work on but should be confident in your ability to bring in new business
  • Must have excellent communication skills including a confident telephone manner
  • Great multi-tasking skills and attention to detail
  • Good organisation skills and strong IT skills
  • Previous recruitment experience would be great, but we offer full training in the recruitment process so isn’t needed
