Publishing Relationship Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Publishing Relationship Manager to join the product management and development team of a leading professional publisher based in London.

 

Key duties:

  • Responsible for the project management of selected products
  • Work closely with external stakeholders and colleagues to lead and develop the creation process
  • Liaise with project managers to ensure publications are delivered on time and to budget
  • Coach and support the product team and demonstrate best-practice management
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and research wider industry trends and market needs
  • Write and present new ideas for standards products

 

Experience / skills required:

  • Solid experience in a stakeholder facing editorial or sales / customer services role in professional or STM publishing
  • Established experience of formally project managing products and building relationships
  • Experience of working with technical teams and high level stakeholders
  • Previous experience of creating integrated, multi-content sourced products
  • Ability to assess market trends with a commercial and strategic awareness
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
