Madeleine Milburn Ltd is looking for a highly organised, proactive and dynamic Rights Agent to join the agency's Mayfair office.  The successful applicant will be an avid reader, have excellent attention to detail, strong pitching skills and a willingness to get involved with everything at this boutique yet highly successful, expanding agency.
 

Responsibilities include handling the agency’s translation rights around the world, communicating with authors, evaluating submissions, pitching books to publishers, liaising with sub-agents, attending book fairs, negotiating and processing contracts and managing all rights administration.
 

At least 2 years’ experience is required and a knowledge of current trends in the book market.
