Rights Executive

Pan Macmillan is looking for a Rights Executive to sell key domestic rights, and to provide administrative support to the Rights Director and the rights team.   

The Adult Rights department sells subsidiary rights for the fiction and non-fiction imprints of Macmillan, Pan, Picador, Bluebird, Sidgwick & Jackson and Boxtree.

The key tasks of the role will include but are not limited to the following:

• Sale of large print, audio, digest, reprint and educational rights
• Sale of 2nd and Commonwealth Serialisation rights
• Sale of production material to third party publishers
• Administration for the above rights, and general departmental administration
• Administrative support for the sale of US, 1st serial rights, film and TV rights
• Compiling and editing a biannual English Language international Rights Guide
• Maintaining and building excellent customer relationships

We are looking for someone who will thrive in a busy rights department and be able to work effectively within a team. They must be well-organised, have excellent administrative and interpersonal skills and be able to prioritise tasks efficiently. 

This role is based in our King’s Cross, London office.
