Sales Executive

A leading Educational publisher in the UK is seeking an experienced Sales Executive (Learning Consultant) for their Higher Education division to promote their print & digital products across the Midlands. This is a home-based sales role, that is a parental leave fixed term contract. The ideal Sales Executive / Learning Consultant will be based in Birmingham, or thereabouts within the territory.

As part of the Higher Education sales team for the UK, the Sales Executive will be responsible for promoting key products and courseware solutions, in print and digital format to Higher Education institutions and academics throughout the territory with a view to maximising revenue and achieving the agreed sales target. As the Sales Executive for this area you will be responsible for visiting the main HE institutions to promote the products and close sales, focusing on new business opportunities with particular emphasis on direct and institutional sales. The Sales Executive will be responsible for arranging, preparing and giving presentations to key faculty decision makers across all levels and departments of the HE institutions.

The Sales Executive will be driven to achieve results with a strong customer focus and have a proven record of sales success within the educational publishing industry and/or selling digital and print products. You will need to have a full driving license and flexibility to travel.
