Sales Executive

 

DK publishes award-winning, bestselling and visually stunning books, apps and ebooks for adults and children. From travel guides and activity books, through to food, history, film and more, DK makes ideas come to life. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Executive to join the DK UK Sales division.

 

Reporting to a Sales Manager, you will:

  • Work with the Key Account team to support the selling in of the DK, Brady, Prima and Travel list, including digital products into the main key retailers.
  • Manage individual accounts where appropriate.
  • Work with the Custom Publishing team helping to deliver bespoke projects to customers.
  • Co-ordinate sales projects for individual customers.
  • Work closely with the Marketing teams and the Publishing Divisions to source material for highlights and customer sell in meetings.
  • Develop closer relationships internally and externally and understand customer needs and the competition.
  • Champion and support the whole DK, Brady, Prima and Travel lists.
  • Provide sales data from customers to share internally.
  • Administrate and manage the raising of PO’s and SAP for the retail marketing spend.

 

Ideally with previous solid administration experience in a sales department/environment plus some sales experience, you will need to be a highly organised individual, with excellent interpersonal skills and results driven. Working as part of a team, you will be expected to adopt a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and collaborative working style. You will be customer focused and an effective decision maker.
