Sales Executive - English Language Teaching - Benelux Countries

We have a fabulous new role, working for a successful, global educational publisher, to work as their new Sales Executive within the ELT (English language Teaching), European sales team. This role will be remotely based in the Netherlands and will promote and drive sales within the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Belgium. The successful person must live in the Netherlands and be eligible to work in the Netherlands.

This is a key appointment in the sales team and the purpose of the role is to promote key ELT products and solutions in educational institutions including public and private schools, colleges and universities in the Benelux territories, to achieve sales targets through all sales channels.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

  • Visiting educational institutions as designated within the territory to promote all relevant products and solutions in digital and print format
  • Identify and research potential leads through various channels, such as calling by phone, email, networking, social media and Salesforce CRM data
  • Act as contact point for customers within the designated markets, in order to respond to customer enquiries
  • Work with key resellers, bookshops, distributors to promote new products, and give product and market training to staff as required
  • Use Salesforce to sample materials to key contacts and opportunities
  • Attend events and conferences in the territory
  • Arrange and deliver product presentations to customers and decision-makers as required

To be successful in this English Language Teaching Sales role, you will ideally have experience of working within sales or a customer facing role, and will be able to communicate in English and preferably Dutch also. You will be a driven individual, keen to succeed and achieve results. You should be confident with great presentation and communication skills, with the ability to organise your time. Experience in the educational or publishing areas, or knowledge of the Dutch school system would be an advantage, as would experience of working in an ELT Language school. You will have proven field sales and/or customer facing experience. A full driving license is essential as is the ability to be able to travel throughout the territory as you will travel throughout the territory 3 out of 5 times a week during term time.
