Sales Manager - International Education

A leading, and highly prestigious, international education publisher has an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused and driven sales professional to join them as their new Europe and US (North America) Sales Manager. This globally renowned publisher offer a competitive salary and benefits package, and allows flexibility for the Sales Manager to work either remotely from home, or from the company's central London office.

The Sales Manager will report to the Head of International Sales and their main remit will be to maximise sales of the company's international education products across Europe and North America. Alongside managing and growing a team of schools' consultants and a small network of sales agents, the Sales Manager will be responsible for:

  • Implementing and maximising use of the CRM system
  • Travelling to Europe and North America (c. 6 weeks / year when safe travel resumes)
  • Building relationships with agents and school distributors
  • Gathering and compiling market reports and advising on the market situation, competition and potential new publishing
  • Attending conferences, exhibitions in Europe and North America
  • Management of the relationship, stock and reporting at the North American Distribution hub

The role offers a fantastic opportunity for a driven and collaborative Sales Manager to make a great impact and work alongside a highly talented and passionate international sales team. The ideal Sales Manager will have proven line management experience with a track record of success in using a CRM database. A background in consultative sales, as well as a good understanding of the international educational publishing landscape and / or international schools (K-12) market is essential as well as strong negotiation and communication skills.
