Sales Specialist, Home-Based, EMEA, Information Services

A Sales Specialist vacancy has come up at a leading information services company. The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent with relevant work experience, ideally having liaised with institutional libraries and / or research offices. They will be capable of leading demonstrations and have excellent influencing and negotiation skills. This is a home-based role which will include travel across the EMEA regions.

They will be responsible for driving sales activity across their designated product lines and work closely with Account Managers, providing subject matter expertise and creative sales ideas. They will manage their designated territory (EMEA) with the aim of achieving sales goals and giving presentations to groups including university and college libraries. There is also a focus on new business in this role and the successful applicant will create territory strategies to source and pursue new leads and organise meetings with key decision makers.

This role would suit someone with solid sales experience or someone with an academic library or information services background. It is an exciting and varied role with scope for travel and interaction with clients and customers.
