Senior Account Manager - Amazon

Our client a well known Trade publisher is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Account Manager to join their UK Sales team, leading strategic initiatives for Amazon and online print sales across all lists. This role reports to the Head of Online Sales and will play a key part in driving the company's growth within this area.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of crafting and executing successful sales strategies for Amazon, along with the ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders across the business. You will be a strong communicator, highly analytical, and possess in-depth knowledge of Amazon's systems and logistics. We are looking for someone with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves leading strategic sales efforts, maximising revenue, and overseeing stock management through close collaboration with divisional experts. You will also manage a team and guide the online print sales strategy across various publishing categories.

The position offers hybrid working from the client's office, providing flexibility in a vibrant, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the UK Sales team's Amazon print strategy, driving sales growth, and ensuring effective implementation across divisions.
  • Managing relationships with internal stakeholders and key external partners to optimise print sales.
  • Overseeing stock availability and addressing barriers to sales in collaboration with the Sales Operations team.
  • Preparing competitor market analysis and sharing insights with internal teams.
  • Line managing a small team and contributing to the wider success of the UK Sales division.

We are looking for someone with extensive experience in selling to Amazon UK, particularly through Vendor Central and Advantage, and strong communication, negotiation, and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with publishing systems like Biblio and Nielsen are essential.
