Senior Author Operations & Services Specialist
Our client, a global academic and professional content provider, is looking to recruit a Senior Author Operation & Services Specialist to provide author experience expertise at an operational, service and process level.
The key responsibilities of the Senior Author Operation & Services Specialist include;
- Supporting the Author Operations and Services first level support team.
- Providing escalation pathways to resolve operational and service issues.
- Using initiative to address and resolve issues.
- Proactively reviewing the service delivered.
- Collecting, analysing and reporting on data.
- Assisting in the development of author services platforms, systems and processes.
- Working on new projects and testing the functionality of new initiatives.
- Utilising technology to optimise productivity and communicate effectively and efficiently.
The successful candidate will have experience of journal publishing production processes and timings as well as a good understanding of the author experience. A strong knowledge of the project management life cycle, open access and user acceptance testing is desirable but not essential.
