Senior Customer Service Group Manager - Publishing
This is a great opportunity to join this international publishing house as a senior customer service manager. To manage a team of customer service staff who process book orders and two customer service managers.
Assisting with the migration of two systems into one. This will mean two teams becoming one and this will involve analysing existing tasks, redesign where applicable. To ensure good work flow processes. Work closely with the sales team to ensure that the quality of service offered is excellent to ensure that customer service and excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders are achieved. Liaise with US CS counterpart to align global policies where possible. To assist with off-shore orders to India and develop this facility.
Educated to degree level
Strong computer literacy using MS Office including Excel
Good previous people management experience
Publishing Industry or similar experience in a customer service environment.
Experience of managing organisational change
Excellent customer service, communication and administration skills.
Internal and external presentation experience
Ability to work under pressure
