Senior Designer, Cornerstone

Your Challenge

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a creative and energetic Senior Designer to join our busy, dynamic team.

The successful candidate will be required to take projects from concept to artwork within strict deadlines. You will need to be an enthusiastic and organised individual, bursting with ideas and able to work with the design team on a variety of covers across fiction and non-fiction; commercial and literary. The ability to work quickly, accurately and under pressure is essential. Candidates should also be voracious readers and passionately interested in books

Your Profile

The ideal candidate will have a design degree or equivalent professional qualification. You should have a proven record within cover design and a minimum of 2 or 3 years within trade publishing. You will have a broad range of Mac skills and an aptitude for the Adobe Creative Suite and Quark Express.
