Senior Editor

Are you an ambitious and commercial Senior Editor with proven experience in trade publishing? If this sounds like you, we have an exciting opportunity at a fast-growing mass-market publisher reporting into the Head of Publishing based in Northamptonshire.

Key responsibilities will be helping to oversee and manage projects working closely with the Head of Publishing. You will be writing, proofreading, editing and working closely with authors and packagers. This is a hands-on role and will mentor and motivate other members of the team.

The ideal candidate will have editorial experience, excellent attention to detail and administration skills as well as the ability to prioritise a heavy workload and work under pressure. You must have outstanding written and communication skills and have proven people management skills.
