Senior Editor - ELT

Senior Editor – Berkshire. A leading specialist educational publisher developing high-quality ELT materials to meet the needs of schools and universities in the international marketplace, is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Editor.

Reporting to the Editorial Manager, you will work collaboratively with both internal and external colleagues and will play a leading role in project planning and development in conjunction with colleagues in Editorial, Sales, Marketing and Production. You will balance your own project management with the coordinating of the activities of the team of freelance staff and, sharing your knowledge, will keep up to date with trends in the ELT market.

The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of ELT publishing and must quickly get to grips with the company’s titles and keep abreast of developments in this field. You will also have an opportunity for occasional travel to relevant bookfairs as well as consultancy and/or promotional events overseas. You will have excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, a collaborative style of working with colleagues and a strong interest in ELT publishing.
