Senior Marketing Communications Manager - Academic

Our client, a premier marketing agency specialising in marketing and consultancy services for the publishing world, is looking to recruit a Senior Marketing Communications Manager.

The Senior Marketing Communications Manager will have responsibility for the day-to-day management and implementation of marketing strategies for publishing clients.  The main responsibilities include;

• Liaising with clients to ensure strategies meet their needs.
• Communications and public relation campaigns.
• Managing the client’s brand.
• Engaging in content and digital marketing.
• Managing campaigns to ensure they run effectively.
• Supporting the sales team.
• Measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of campaigns.
• Budgeting and financial management.
• Conducting market research and analysis.
• Some European travel will be required.

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate success in previous marketing roles as well as a solid understanding of marketing disciplines. Academic journals marketing experience is preferred. The candidate should possess strong communication skills, excellent verbal and written English skills are essential.  Confidence, attention to detail and self-motivation are required to ensure good organisation, planning and time management.
