Senior Marketing Manager

We have an excellent opening for a Senior Marketing Manager to join a global academic and STM publisher. You will be responsible for developing marketing strategies and driving sales of a portfolio of online library products. This is a temporary 12 month role and can be based in their central London office or the US.

 

Key duties:

  • Assist with strategic planning and budgeting for a portfolio of digital library products
  • Manage and direct staff to ensure targets are achieved through effective multi-channel marketing
  • Create and implement marketing strategies and build product brands
  • Budget and forecast sales of allocated products and expenses
  • Work with other departments to ensure products are positioned according to market requirements
  • Attend conferences and events as required

 

Experience / skills required:

  • Marketing experience in publishing, ideally in the academic sector
  • Experience of marketing business or academic multimedia products is desirable
  • Strong digital marketing skills
  • Strong leadership abilities and a proactive approach
  • Proven project and product management skills
