Senior Publicist, Fiction

We are looking for an experienced,  skilled, self-motivated and highly-organised Senior Publicist to work in the Fiction Communications team

The position will involve –

Devising, planning and overseeing trade and consumer PR campaigns and tours for commercial and literary fiction titles at Pan Macmillan across all media platforms

Maintaining and building relationships with a broad range of fiction key media contacts, journalists, bloggers and retailers in order to maximize publicity, PR opportunities and sales

Providing marketing campaign support

Maintaining market awareness and having a strong understanding of commercial and literary fiction communities.

Managing campaign budgets

Providing high level of author care

This is a key role within our organisation and as such we are looking for someone with a proven track record of running campaigns with a communications department of a publishing company. You must be able to work autonomously and be good at prioritising work under pressure. 

The ideal candidate will have:

A great track record of creating high impact campaigns that drive sales

Good contacts across the commercial and literary media

Knowledge of email and content marketing.

This role is based in our King’s Cross, London office.
