SEO Strategist

If you have solid SEO experience and are looking for a new challenge, then don't miss this exciting opportunity to join a highly successful EdTech company in a new role as their SEO Strategist! This role is based remotely initially due to Covid. Our client have their office in London.

The main remit of this pivotal role will be to scale and grow the company's organic traffic across primary schools, secondary schools, parents and international schools as well as their website as a whole. You will work closely with key stakeholders in marketing, content, product, as well as with freelancers, to analyse organic performance and achieve growth. Reporting to and working closely with the Head of SEO, the SEO Strategist's responsibilities include:

  • Analysis and troubleshooting of the website performance
  • Researching the competitive landscape and latest trends
  • Collaborating with teams to move SEO projects from ideation and approval through to completion
  • Create roadmaps and content strategies reflecting research done
  • Create high value content in-line with the content strategy
  • Educating internal stakeholders on SEO process and best practices
  • Maintain expertise in SEO news, algorithm changes, and trends

Alongside experience of scaling organic growth, the successful SEO Strategist will have solid, detailed SEO experience, as well as hands-on experience of multiple SEO tools including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Sitebulb (or similar tools). The SEO Strategist will need to have excellent Excel skills and be highly numerate, with strong communication and time management skills.
