Society Marketing Manager

We are looking for an innovative Marketing Manager to work on a high-profile society journal list for a world leading STM publisher. This role is based in either their Oxford offices with regular travel to Germany, or full time in their Germany offices.

Key duties:

  • Deliver marketing campaigns and supporting digital strategy for a list journals
  • Act as the key marketing contact for external clients and internal colleagues
  • Prepare for, and attend, editorial board meetings as required
  • Use a range of marketing tools and technology
  • Monitoring performance of journals, including circulation and readership data,
  • Maintain a broad overview of developments in journals publishing

Experience / skills required:

  • You will have prior experience of marketing within publishing
  • A proven ability to develop relationships is key
  • You must have an understanding of key issues in academic journal publishing
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential
