Solution Sales Manager, Engineering, Home Based

A globally successful publisher of scientific, medical and technical resources is now seeking a home based Solution Sales Manager to drive new sales across their Engineering portfolio selling to engineers and researchers in the Corporate as well as the Academic and Government market.

 

The Solution Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving new sales, expansion sales and revenue growth sales within the Engineering portfolio. Working with a regional sales team this role will develop and execute targeted sales plans as well as providing feedback from customers in order to meet strategic marketing and sales objectives. As a consultative and solutions led sales professional the Solution Sales Manager will develop a deep understanding of the relevant customer segment the solutions are sold into and will translate the solution value to be specific to that customer. In addition, this role will have responsibility for analysing the competitor landscape for engineering to ensure that the organisation is in a strong position against their key competition.  

 

The successful candidate will be highly consultative with a strong track record in sales within a competitive environment. The Solution Sales Manager will be a fantastic communicator with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal Account Managers. Any knowledge of bibliometrics, working with academic institutions, research networks or an engineering or scientific background would be an advantage in applying for this role.
