Strategic Marketing Manager – 12 Month Contract

Our client, a global provider of research resources to the library markets, is currently seeking a Strategic Marketing Manager for a 12-month contract to implement product and brand strategies for the portfolio. 

Reporting to the Head of Strategic Marketing the Strategic Marketing Manager will support the development of branding and marketing plans and ensure their successful execution.  The main responsibilities include:

• creating marketing plans and setting product strategies for digital archives
• helping to increase the brands value internationally
• ensuring end-to-end marketing for key products internationally
• developing a plan for monitoring and reviewing market conditions and competitor activity
• devising and implementing leadership events and roadshows.
• translating the marketing strategy into cohesive marketing plans
• tracking product development and marketing initiatives
• supporting sales with field visits
• working with the MarComms team
• creating sales tools with analytics

The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate substantial experience in a Product Management or Marketing role on top of being well versed in marketing strategy and translating it into marketing plans. You should possess good financial analysis skills as well as the ability to contribute towards all phases of product development. On top of this you should be able to anticipate market patterns and trends as well as the ability to transfer insight into action.
