Subscription Sales Executive

An innovative and fast-expanding education focused subscription agency based in Oxford is now seeking to recruit a number of Subscription Sales Executives to build new and existing relationships in order to maximise sbscriptions and renewals for high-quality online educational resources.

Key customers will include those in the Public Library, Further Education and School sectors and this role will be crucial in maintaing and developing strong relationships with these customers.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the entire sales cycle from generating leads through to closing sales
  • Use a CRM (SalesForce) to log and track leads
  • Build a strong market and product knowledge in order to offer excellent advice and support to customers
  • Call new potential customers in order to generate new subscriptions
  • Represent the organisation at industry events and use this opportunity to network and build new relationships
  • Take responsibility for own performance in order to meet and exceed subscription targets

The successful candidate will ideally have some experience of working in a customer focussed role and will have a positive, confident and driven approach to work. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal are absolutely essential as well as the ability to be extremely organised and copy with a busy and varied workload. The ideal candidate will be an excellent negotiator and influencer with an outgoing, friendly and enthusiastic personality. An interest in working in digital publishing, particularly within the education sector is a must and any experience in using online resources would be an advantage in applying for this role.
