Subscriptions Sales Executive/Manager

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales person to join a leading not for profit publisher and charity specialising in life sciences. The role will be responsible for retaining subscription clients and driving revenue for the company. Based in Cambridgeshire, the role will be based in their new offices and will join a small, friendly team. 

 

Key duties:

  • Develop relationships with decision makers and budget holders to drive revenue
  • Increase direct sales as well as through agents for print and online tiered subscriptions
  • Negotiate bespoke packages with Tier 5 institutions and consortia
  • Monitor renewals and manage price requests
  • Work with colleagues on campaigns to grow subscriptions
  • Provide monthly reporting on sales

 

Experience / skills required:

  • Experience in subscription sales is essential
  • Direct sales experience
  • A good understanding of consortia and tiered systems
  • A strong consultative sales approach
  • Experience of selling digital and non-digital solutions
