We have a fantastic new role for a Temporary Audio Support Assistant to join an Audio Book Publisher based in Oxford for at least 2 months. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to take their first step into publishing and enjoy a varied role.
As an Audio Support Assistant you will be supporting the team and the Production Manager with a wide-ranging workload, which will include the up and coming and exciting new developments within audio!
This role would suit an organised individual who is able to work confidential on a PC /Apple Mac. Who has excellent attention to detail, highly flexible, ability to multi-task and prioritise, and to be able to work on their own initiative.
This Role will include
- Renaming and converting audio files according to clients' specifications
- Booking readers and controlling the studio schedule
- Highlighting recordings needing a producer to be allocated
- Printing and posting scripts to readers
- Downloading new titles from external suppliers
- Maintaining audio archive and retrieving titles
- General office and admin duties
We are ideally looking for a candidate with some office experience, and an interest in working for a small team with a wide variety of tasks. If you are super organised and enthusiastic with a keen interest in publishing and can start immediately, this could be an amazing opportunity for you!
