UK Sales Manager

An award-winning independent publishing house, based in Central London, is looking to appoint an experienced UK Sales Manager. They have a strong list of quality titles ranging across non-fiction, literary fiction and YA. You will be responsible for selling to Key Accounts, Wholesalers and Independents in and around of London.

You main responsibility will be visiting a range of accounts and maintaining strong relationships (1-2 days in the office). Key to your success will be the ability to establish excellent working relationships with your accounts and fundamental to this are excellent communication and presentation skills. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be well-organised, confident and self-motivated.

You will have a successful sales track record and experience specifically in the UK Trade book market. The successful candidate must be an enthusiastic sales professional with the ability to enthuse others. You will have a strong personal drive, demonstrable people skills, first class negotiating experience and sound commercial acumen. This excellent opportunity could also be appropriate for an experienced sales manager ready for a new challenge.
