Web Developer

Our client, a leading digital publisher of academic resources based in Wiltshire is looking for a Developer to join their technical team. This is a great opportunity for a web developer to join a supportive team and design and develop cutting edge web projects.

Key duties:

• Work closely with internal and external developers to build, maintain and enhance the current platform/framework
• Provide technological support for existing projects
• Develop new and existing technologies to increase functionality
• Work on user acceptance testing (UAT) and Unit testing to ensure products are fit for their intended purpose
• Provide guidance and technical training to software developers and editorial colleagues

Experience / skills required:

• Previous commercial experience in web development
• Experience with .Net Core/Linux, Asp.Net, MVC.Net or delivering digital humanities solutions in higher education would be an advantage
• Ability to prioritise tasks and adapt quickly to evolving prioritises
• A logical approach to problem solving and ability to work well under pressure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
